Festival of Spanish Theatre in London, 2018
Susana Hernández & Ascen López have drawn on fragments and scenes from the works of Enrique Jardiel Poncela and Miguel Mihura (two of the most talented playwrights and scriptwriters from early 20th century Spain) to produce a vision of the role of women in society which is both surreal and scarily accurate in its observation, sometimes horrifying, sometimes hilarious.
The production will be brought to London in June 2018 as part of the Festival of Spanish Theatre (Festelón). Performances will be in Spanish, with surtitles translated by Kathryn Phillips-Miles and Simon Deefholts. Tickets are available here.
