A blend of history, myth and legend . . .

While Lucretia is notorious for her expertise in poisons, little is known about her taste in music. We do know that her husband, Alfonso d’Este, assembled a group comprising six vihuelas (an early form of viola) for their wedding celebrations, which are reflected in this compilation by Capella de Ministrers.
